DHD 900-103 Duramax Basic Engine Oil Cooler Seal Kit 2001-2016 6.6L

This basic service kit focuses only on the cooler housing itself and does not include the gaskets required to remove or install the cooler. This kit works excellent for customers who already have gasket kits that include the installation gaskets. This kit includes the thick green seal found on most GM replacement coolers as well as oil coolers 2012-2016.

Note:

This seal kit is designed to reseal oil cooler case halves that utilize an o-ring. Some early LB7 and LLY trucks have an OE cooler that requires a flat single layer steel gasket. That gasket has been discontinued.

The green sealing band is found on replacement GM coolers 2001+ as well as 2012+ trucks. If you have a original equipment cooler on your early 2001-2010 trucks it might not required to green band seal. If your not sure we recommend DHD 900-100.
