Callies Compstar crankshafts are a very popular upgrade amongst engine builds here at DHD. The Compstar Duramax crank is designed to be substantially stronger than the OE versions.  This increase in strength centers around unique machining features, stronger steel material and a deeper nitride layer. 

Unlike the Ultra Billet Callies cranks, Compstar crankshafts are intended to be externally balanced with stock style damper and flywheel configurations. Billet flywheels and upgraded dampeners also work well with Compstars.

Unlike the LB7 stock crank, Callies modified the Compstar counterweights to be able to clear and fit in all years with stock rods and pistons.

These cranks come direct from Callies with no crank gear installed. If you need a crank gear installed, select that service from the menu above.
