Its always best practice to replace the flex plate bolts during service. These bolts are torque to yield and cannot be reused. Each Duramax requires 8 of these bolts to hold the flex plate & flywheel assembly to the engine. These bolts work with both OEM and aftermarket flex plates. For high performance applications, consider switch to DHD Torq 12 Point Chromoly Bolts.
