Installation

The TapShifter installs using OEM high quality connectors for a completely plug and play installation in less than 30 minutes.

Operation

TapShifter Operation is very straight forward. To downshift you'll simply depress the "-" button on the shifter. To upshift you'll press the "+" button. The TapShifter will allow you to select a range with the shift lever and then tap up and down without worry of tapping to a higher range than selected. This feature is great for sled pullers who do not want to shift to 4th gear on the track!

Features

The TapShifter has many great features. It allows you to select the exact gear you want without missing a gear using the lever and is much more ergonomic. It adds the ability to have Overdrive Disable for the 2001-2002 trucks which came without the feature.

AlliLocker

The TapShifter also has the AlliLocker circuitry built in to control your Torque Converter Apply and RELEASE!

The AlliLocker upgrade allows you to lock your converter based on throttle percentage, vehicle speed, and boost pressure. These features are great for drag racing and sled pulling. Especially the ability to unlock the converter at the end of the track with the flip of a switch.
