Your trucks Allison transmission randomly going into limp mode or neutral? There is a chance its because of an invalid speed input from your transfer case speed sensor. On trucks with badly worn transfer cases its not uncommon for this tone ring and speed sensor to collide. This collision will damage both the speed sensor and the tone ring.
