Converting your LML Duramax's differential mounts to solid bushings will eliminate dangerous pinion angle changes under heavy load. This press fit bushing replaces the rubber OE bushings in the differential carriers, sometimes referred to as the dog bones. Although each truck comes factory with 4 rubber bushings, we've seen a huge decrease in pinion movement by just replacing the bushing closest to the pinion on the drivers side frame rail. Obviously, the higher the horsepower and the more aggressive the load, the more benefit you would get from by converting all your bushing to solid.
Trucks without this solid bushing will experience bushing distortion and damage. This distortion causes excess pinion angle changes that often results in front propshaft or u-joint failure. If you've been experiencing these failures on your puller or racer its time to go solid!
