Looking for an alternate to GM 12471499 pinion yoke?

Replace your damaged 1480/1485 pinion yoke with this new pinion yoke from DHD. This yoke has the same installed height to the original pinion yoke however it does not have the dampener. Its our position at DHD that your trucks driveline does not REQUIRE the rubber isolated style yoke. The rubber dampener on your OE yoke was an option GM elected to purchase when sourcing axles. Other manufactures did not adopt this added cost. For example, all medium duty and Dodge applications utilizing the AAM 11.5 do not have the damper.

This yoke can serve as an economical option for 2001-2005 Duramax customers to convert their 1410 driveline to the larger 1480 U-Joints.
