Allison Driver Side Transmission Dip Stick Tube for 2001-10 Duramax. When running large twin or single turbo kits the factory passenger side transmission dipstick tube will interfere with piping. This tube relocates the dipstick to the driver side for easier access.
Installation is pretty straight forward, remove the plug on the transmission case on the driver side and reinstall plug into the passenger side where the original dipstick was. Sometimes feeding the tube up from under the truck works best. Our tubes open mounting point allows for easier positioning and installation.
NOTE: Some model trucks will require relocation of the glow plug control module on the driver side valve cover as the new dipstick shares the same area.
Recommended Dipstick:
If your truck is a LB7, LLY or LBZ, you do not need to purchase a different dipstick.
If your truck is a LMM 2007.5-2010 you will need GM # 15794381 (2001-2006 Style/Length)
