GM Duramax Engine Block to Cylinder Head Dowel Pin 2001-2016

These dowels are located at engine block head surface. They are used to locate the engine block to cylinder head. These open center pins often get damaged or come up missing during service. Dowel pins prevent shifting during install and post install. Not installing them will surely lead to leaks or damage.

Note: These locating pins are also used for the rear cover to block mating surface.

Each Cylinder Head Requires 2 Dowels. 4 Dowels Required per Engine.
