The fuel sending unit reports fuel level readings to the instrument cluster. If your experiencing erratic fuel level readings or an inoperative fuel gauge, there is a chance this is the issue. This is an OE replacement, so accuracy and fitment will never be an issue unlike with cheap aftermarkets.
Note: New sending unit includes rubber sealing ring.
