DHD's axle tube reamer is a must for those looking to upgrade there AAM axles. Our reamer is carefully sized to cut material out of the I.D. of the spindles and axle tube which will allow your 11.5AAM to accept 38 spline axle shafts. Each reamer comes with a 5/8" arbor turned down to work with a 1/2" drill and a new precision ground high speed steel cutter.

This is the same tool we use for our DHD 38-Spline axle shafts, and is priced way below other manufacturers tools.

Important:

Reaming is a laborious process. Set aside ample time for the project and plan on renting a industrial drill or "hole hawg". These large drills are typically available for rent from large retailers such as Home Depot, Lowes or Menards.
