DHD 801-102 Duramax Diesel Stock Keyed Crankshaft
The stock Duramax uses a dowel pin on the crankshaft and it is common to see high mileage or high horsepower engines with damaged or sheared dowel pins.
DHD offers the best solution for that problem by selling our customers an upgraded crankshaft that will last for many years to come. Our machine shop has modified and added a keyway to each of these crankshafts for added shear strength over the stock dowel pin.

DHD identifies and uses only the best used crankshaft cores and subjects them to professional testing, cleaning and measurement. Each crankshaft has be Magnafluxed to rule out cracks, cleaned, polished and machined for a straight key. All crankshafts are standard bearing sizing unless noted. We always call to confirm your order, model and preferences.
Will My Stock Balancer / Accessories Fit?
Yes, there is no additional modification required to your stock components.
Core:
Core charges are refundable upon receipt of rebuild-able like kind core. Returned cores must be of the same Duramax model as ordered. Excessive bearing journal wear, cracks, damaged threads or evidence of prior repairs will lead to forfeiture of core credit. Return shipping cost are the responsibility of the purchaser.
If you'd like to avoid paying the core charge up front, check the "Avoid Core Charge, Send Core First" box. Your order and funds will be held until your core is received by DHD.
