Replace your damaged 1410 pinion yoke with this new AAM pinion yoke from DHD. This yoke has the same installed height to the original pinion yoke however it does not have the dampener. Its our position at DHD that your trucks driveline does not REQUIRE the rubber isolated style yoke. The rubber dampener on your OE yoke was an option GM elected to purchase when sourcing axles from AAM. Other manufactures did not adopt this added cost. For example, all medium duty and Dodge applications utilizing the AAM 11.5 do not have the damper.
