DHD's Allison pressure regulator spring and shim install tool is a great addition to any technicians toolbox that intends to service Allison transmissions. This tool is designed to compress the pressure spring in the stator support to allow removal of the retaining pin. Once the pin is removed you can unloaded the spring and swap it with a heavier spring or add a shim.
Shimming the pressure regulator or replacing the spring is a very popular upgrade amongst Allison transmission builders. DHD recommends installing the RT-A01-PR kit for the best performance.
This tool will work on 2001-2010 Allison Transmissions.
