IMS Billet Short Shaft 4L80E Tail Housing Adapter

IMS's 4L80-E tail shaft adapter is designed to bolt to a 4wd transmission, allowing the use of a slip or fixed yoke on a 4wd transmission. This shortens the overall drivetrain when compared to a 2wd 4L80-E.

Notes:

• These adapters are commonly used on trucks with divorce transfer cases or drop boxes.
• A fabricated crossmember/mount will be required for rear case support. Most customers utilize the bolt pattern on the adapter to work off of.
• The adapter is made from 6061 T6 billet aluminum and comes with bushings and seal installed.
