If you have a coolant leak on the passenger side of the vehicle, it make be coming from this heater outlet pipe/hose. Its common for 01-05 Duramax's to leak from this assembly and elude diagnosis. Generally when this hose leaks the customers concern is a smell of antifreeze or some orange stains on the intercooler piping. Its not uncommon for this to be leaking and the drip never make it to the ground.
