For years installing tie rod sleeves on your Duramax has proven to be a highly effective and cost efficient way to strengthen the steering system. Everything we have learned on the Duramax platform is now packaged into a sleeve specific to the Rivian platform.
In extreme conditions or under heavy loads the Rivian R1T/S inner tie rods can bend or even break, which can yield costly repair bills. These easy to install strengthening sleeves thread onto the inner tie rod and bridge the gap between inner and outer tie rod ends. When installed these sleeves essentially double the shaft diameter making bending or breaking nearly impossible.

Note: Installation of these sleeves will require complete outer tie rod removal. Once installed, these tie rod sleeves double as a jam nut for the outer tie rod and must be loosened to make toe adjustments when performing an alignment.
